Paul Eggers
Paul Eggers (author page at Amazon
) is the author of a novel, Saviors (Harcourt, 1999), and a short story collection, How the Water Feels (Southern Methodist University Press, 2002). An associate professor of creative writing at Cal State at Chico, his short fiction has appeared in Granta, The Missouri Review, Prairie Schooner, Northwest Review, and elsewhere. In 1985, he and his wife lived in Burundi, Africa, and he is a former nationally ranked chess player. (2006)
