Maxine Scates
Maxine Scates is the author of two books of poems, Black Loam and Toluca Street, and the recipient of a 2010 Pushcart Prize. She is also editor, with David Trinidad, of Holding Our Own: The Selected Poems of Ann Stanford. She lives in Eugene, Oregon. (updated 8/2009)
