Martha Cooley

Martha Cooley (author page at Amazon) is the author of The Archivist, a national bestseller, and Thirty-Three Swoons (Little, Brown, April 2005). With co-translator Antonio Romani, she has published translations of the short fiction of Antonio Tabucchi and the poetry of Giampiero Neri and Loris Jacopo Bononi. Her short fiction, essays, and translations have appeared in A Public Space, Southampton Review, The Common, Atlanta Review, PEN America, and elsewhere. She teaches fiction in the Bennington Writing Seminars and is associate professor of English at Adelphi University. (updated 11/2014)
