Kelle Groom

The poems of Kelle Groom (author page at Amazon) have appeared in DoubleTake, The Gettysburg Review, The New Yorker, Ploughshares, and Poetry, and her nonfiction has appeared in Brevity. Her poetry collections are Underwater City (University Press of Florida, 2004), Luckily, a Florida Book Award winner (Anhinga Press, 2006), and the forthcoming Five Kingdoms (Anhinga, 2009). “How to Make a Shoe” is from her memoir, I Wore the Ocean in the Shape of a Girl, which The Free Press / Simon & Shuster will publish in September 2011.
