Jessica Keener
Jessica Keener is a fiction reader at AGNI. Her debut novel, Night Swim (2012), was hailed by The Boston Globe as “thrilling” and “exhilarating” and by The New York Times as “earnest” and “moving.” Her short fiction has been listed in The Pushcart Prize under “Outstanding Writers.” Her writing awards include a grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council Artist’s Grant Program, a Joan Jakobson Scholarship from Wesleyan Writers Conference, and second prize in Redbook magazine’s fiction contest. She has published more than sixty features for The Boston Globe, Design New England, O, The Oprah Magazine, and other national magazines. Keener co-authored the memoir, Time to Make the Donuts, with Dunkin’ Donuts’ founder William Rosenberg, and has taught writing at Boston University, Brown University, and University of Miami, FL.
