Golan Haji

Golan Haji (b.1978) is a Syrian Kurdish poet and translator who now lives in Paris. His latest poetry collection, Autumn Here is Magical and Vast, was published in a bilingual Arabic/Italian edition in Rome in 2013. His next collection, Scale of Injury, includes the poems in this issue and is forthcoming from Al-Mutawassit, Milan, in 2016. His most recent translation into Arabic is Alberto Manguel’s A Reader on Reading (Daral-Saqi, Beirut, 2016). (updated 10/2016)
