Giampiero Neri

Giampiero Neri was born near Lake Como in 1927. A bank employee for forty years, he has been writing poetry his entire life. In 2007 his Poems, 1960-2005 was published by Mondadori (with an introduction by the Italian poet Maurizio Cucchi). His newest collection, Paesaggi Inospiti (Inhospitable Landscapes), will be brought out this year, also by Mondadori. (updated 4/2009)
