Frank Ormsby

Frank Ormsby was born in 1947 in Enniskillen, Northern Ireland. He has served as the editor of The Hip Flask: Short Poems from Ireland (Blackstaff Press, 2001) and The Blackbird's Nest: An Anthology of Poems from Queen's University, Belfast (Blackstaff, 2006), as well as numerous other anthologies. His most recent poetry collection, Fireflies (Carcanet Press Ltd., 2009), was chosen for the Oxford Poets series. (updated 7/2010)
