Forrest Gander
Forrest Gander (author page at Amazon) has been honored with fellowships from the Guggenheim Foundation, the National Endowment for the Arts, and the Rockefeller Foundation, as well as a Pushcart Prize (2000) and the PEN Translation Fund Award (2004). His most recent publications include a translation of Coral Bracho’s poetry, Firefly Under the Tongue (New Directions, 2008), and As a Friend (New Directions, 2008), a novel. He currently teaches in the English and Comparative Literatures Department at Brown University. (updated 7/2010)
