Douglas Bauer
Douglas Bauer’s (author page at Amazon) books include the novels Dexterity (Owl, 1999), The Very Air (Henry Holt, 1997), and The Book of Famous Iowans (Henry Holt, 1998), and the nonfiction books Prairie City, Iowa (University of Iowa, 2008) and The Stuff of Fiction (University of Michigan, 2007). His stories and essays have appeared in Esquire, The New York Times Magazine, The Atlantic, Harper’s, Sports Illustrated, Tin House, AGNI, and many other magazines.
