David Keplinger
David Keplinger (author page at Amazon) is the author of three collections of poetry, most recently The Prayers of Others (New Issues, 2006), which won the Colorado Book Award, and The Clearing (New Issues, 2005). His first collection, The Rose Inside (Truman University Press, 1999), won the T.S. Eliot Prize. He teaches at American University, where he is currently at work on a book about creative writing pedagogy, and has also co-translated Carsten Rene Nielsen's World Cut Out with Crooked Scissors (New Issues, 2007).
