David Havird

David Havird has published articles on James Dickey, Flannery O’Connor, Elizabeth Spencer, and Allen Tate. His poems have appeared in AGNI, The New Yorker, Poetry, The Sewanee Review, Shenandoah, The Yale Review, and elsewhere. His collection Penelope’s Design, winner of the 2009 Robert Phillips Poetry Chapbook Prize, is forthcoming from Texas Review Press. He is professor of English at Centenary College of Louisiana.
