Women's Hockey
It did not take long for Boston University to make a name for itself in the world of women’s ice hockey.

Entering just its fifth season as a varsity program, the Terriers look to continue the impressive strides made over their first four years. During the 2008-09 season, the Terriers reached the Hockey East playoffs for the second consecutive year -- including the program's first postseason win, at Walter Brown Arena -- and were nationally ranked for the first time.

Head coach Brian Durocher, who was Jack Parker’s top assistant before taking over the women’s program upon its inception, has led the program since its inception. A goalie and captain of the 1978 men’s ice hockey national championship team, Durocher was instrumental in helping BU host the 2009 NCAA Women's Frozen Four at Agganis Arena.

Walter Brown Arena
Walter Brown Arena at Case Center is the home of Terrier women's ice hockey. Walter Brown Arena is located at 285 Babcock Street.
