What AGEP Does for Faculty and Staff
The AGEP Office is available to assist faculty and
staff in a number of ways. If your program is looking into changing
its recruitment strategies for underrepresented populations, we can
help you with informational resources and data on strategies that
have been effective at other Northeast Alliance institutions. We
also track statistical data on BU's student population at both the
graduate and undergraduate level in various STEM disciplines and
can provide this data upon request for departmental informational
requests and for grant proposal preparation.
We also intend to serve as a clearinghouse for information
related to issues of graduate student recruitment and retention and
plan on creating informational resources for such things as grants
relating specifically to minority graduate students, organizations
that serve underrepresented populations, and conferences and meetings.
If you have information that you would like added to
the AGEP website, please contact Richard Rowley.
