Crosstown Schools

The Flying Tigers at Boston University is host to many cadets from other colleges and universities across the Greater Boston area through crosstown enrollment agreements. Students at any of the below schools may enroll in Air Force ROTC at Boston University while simultaneously earning a degree at their crosstown institution.

Scholarships

Air Force ROTC offers numerous competitive scholarships to qualifying individuals. More information can be found on the Air Force ROTC web site.

Boston University offers several significant incentives for scholarship winners. Check the Boston University Undergraduate Bulletin for more information.

Classes

As a college freshman or sophomore, you’ll register for an Air Force one-hour credit course and Leadership Laboratory. As a college junior or senior, you’ll register for an Air Force three-hour credit course and Leadership Laboratory.

Classes for Fall 2015 are:
Leadership Laboratory (AS101): Wed 1615-1815 (All Cadets Must Attend)
AS 110 (Freshman) course section(s): Wed 1500-1600
AS 210 (Sophomore) course section(s): Wed 1400-1500
AS 310 (Junior) course section(s): Tues 1800-2100
AS 410 (Senior) course section(s): Wednesday 1830-2130

Classes for Spring 2016 are:
Leadership Laboratory (AS101): Wed 1615-1815 (All Cadets Must Attend)
AS 120 (Freshman) course section(s): Wed 1500-1600
AS 220 (Sophomore) course section(s): Wed 1400-1500
AS 320 (Junior) course section(s): Tues 1800-2100
AS 420 (Senior) course section(s): Tues 1600-1900

In addition, you will also be required to attend two physical training (PT) sessions per week. These are Tuesday and Thursday at 0600.   Alternate PT options may be available for cadets on varsity sports teams, by exception.
