Order "What Do We Know About Africa?"
The Outreach Program has produced an introductory 30-minute video discussing and dispelling stereotypes while providing a basic overview of the continent's geography, culture, and history. (includes a wonderfully detailed curriculum guide).


Traveling Kits: Traveling kits offer a window into the lives of children from various countries. Along with numerous authentic items from each country, the kits also include photo sets and full curriculum guides. These kits can be borrowed locally from the African Studies Outreach Program or be shipped nationally by contacting the Boston Children's Museum at 1.800.370.5487, ext. 231. Thus far, we have the following traveling kits available for rent:

  • The Ghana Culture Kit (multiple kits available for rent)
  • The Kenyan Kids Kit (multiple kits available for rent)
