In “Summer Passages,” the African Studies Center showcases the work our undergraduate and graduate students have done in Africa over the summer term. Our students have been busy conducting research, language study, and working in public health all over the continent. This is just a sampling of students who submitted their stories but they highlight the variety of opportunities that exist and that are pursued.

If you have participated in a summer program in Africa, whether through BU or other agency, we’d love to hear from you. Please fill out the short form below, and be sure to include pictures of your trip!

For more information on summer programs in Africa, including Study Abroad in Zanzibar, contact Peter Quella.
