Remembering Nelson Mandela
BU faculty and staff recall the life of Nelson Mandela and consider his legacy in today’s BU Today.
From Zoliswa Mali, fellow South African, and the African Studies Center’s Coordinator of Southern African Languages, an exhortation for Nelson Mandela:
NELSON ROLIHLAHLA MANDELA: Oh What a LIFE!!!!! Rest in peace tata Madiba. You have fought a good fight with unparalleled resilience! You have walked your long walk to real FREEDOM! YES, YOU HAVE RUN THE RACE AND WON! You must have already heard the affirmation above all affirmations: #Well done thou faithful servant!” You are a BOOK that generations upon generations will read and learn from. A peaceful rest you have earned!
