Writing Black Lives Exhibit at the BU Libraries Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center
Exhibit features first editions from 18th century black writers, Phillis Wheatley and Harriet Jacobs; correspondence and writings from journalists, scholar-activists, and poets, including William Monroe Trotter, Martin Luther King Jr., Adelaide Cromwell, Sonia Sanchez, Nikki Giovanni, and Afaa Michael Weaver, as well as artifacts from the collections of theologian and former Dean of Marsh Chapel Howard Thurman and many others.
