PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

Go to the ground transportation area. Take a bus that will take you to the subway (the subway system in Boston is called the T). Take the blue subway inbound to Government Center. At Government Center go upstairs to the green subway and take a B,C,or D train outbound to Kenmore Square.

Take the train to South Station. Get on the red subway heading towards Park Street station. Get off at Park Street and go upstairs to the green subway heading towards Kenmore station and take it to Kenmore Square.

Take the bus to South Station. Get on the red subway heading towards Park Street station. Get off at Park Street and go upstairs to the green subway heading towards Kenmore station and take it to Kenmore Square.

FROM KENMORE SQUARE

Get off at the Kenmore Square station and go upstairs. Take a right when you exit the turnstile. When you exit the station, you will be on Commonwealth Avenue. Head to the left on the sidewalk (with the buildings on your right). Take a right on Deerfield St. You will pass the Kenmore post office on your right. Then take a left on Bay State Road. The detachment will be on your left, #118. Look for the red sign with yellow writing that says “Department of Aerospace Studies.”

DRIVING DIRECTIONS TO THE BOSTON UNIVERSITY CAMPUS

From the North or South

Take Interstate 93 into Boston, exiting at Storrow Drive (exit 26). Bear left at the “Y” located at the base of the exit ramp. Continue on Storrow Drive for approximately 2 miles following the signs for 2 West. Storrow Drive parallels the Charles River (on your right) so all of the exits are to the left. It is best therefore to stay in the middle lane always! Once on Storrow Drive take the fourth exit (left again) which is marked Fenway/Kenmore Route 1. This is a two lane left exit. Stay to your right and bear right of the building with the sign “Boston University Myles Standish Hall”. This is Bay State Road. We are located at 118 Bay State Road. You will see the American flag flying in front of our building. You will need to pay the meter (.25 cents per 15 minutes) if you choose to park.

From the West

Take Interstate 90 (Mass Pike) east. After the tolls in Newton MA you are approximately 8 miles away. Look for exit 18 signs “Allston/Cambridge.” The exit is on the left with a .50 cent toll. After the toll bear right. You will be turning right at the corner, where Double Tree Suites Hotel is located. This is Storrow Drive, stay in the right lane for approximately 1 mile until you see Fenway/Kenmore Square exit. Take this exit slow, at the end of the exit is a traffic light (Beacon Street), turn right and bear right of the building with the sign “Boston University Myles Standish Hall.” This is Bay State Road. We are located at 118 Bay State Road. You will see the American flag flying in front of our building. You will need to pay the meter (.25 cents per 15 minutes) if you choose to park.

From the Airport on the “T” (Public Subway/Buses)

Outside the terminal, wait for the “T” bus which will take you to the “T” subway (not all buses will). The airport is on the Blue Line. Get on the inbound train towards the Bowdoin Station (end of the line). Get off at Government Center and change to the Green Line westbound. Your can take the “B”, “C”, or “D” train en route to Kenmore Square. Exit at Kenmore Square. Take a right after you pass through the pay station. After you come above ground, you want to head towards “Pizzeria Uno”. You will need to take a right at Deerfield Street (Campus Convenience Store on Corner). The first street you come to off Deerfield is Bay State Road. Take a left onto Bay State Road, we are located at building 118. You will see the American flag flying in front of our building.
