Noel Vigue, M.Ed., CSCS
Head Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach Vigue worked with NHL, collegiate, All-State/Scholastic, and State Championship athletes and teams throughout his career. He also serves as an adjunct professor in Exercise Physiology at Mount Ida College. Formerly Coach Vigue served as the director of Athletic Performance Enhancement (APE, Worcester, MA). Email Noel
Adam H. Naylor, Ed.D., AASP-CC
Director/Sport Psychology Coach Dr. Naylor brings over 10 years of applied sport psychology experience (Olympic, professional, major collegiate, and elite junior) to the AEC team. Beyond overseeing the AEC he serves on Boston University’s School of Education faculty and is consultant to the Lewiston Maineiacs (QMJHL). He is the Sport Psychology and Counseling editor for Athletic Therapy Today. Email Adam
Emily Carusone, M.S., CSCS
Strength and Conditioning Coach Coach Carusone has extensive experience designing and implementing strength and conditioning programs for youth through professional athletes. Prior to joining AEC she trained high school and collegiate athletes at Strength in Motion in Syracuse, NY. She holds a masters degree in Exercise Physiology from Syracuse University where she was a Big East athlete for four years. Email Emily
Dan McGovern, PT, ATC, CSCS
Strength & Conditioning Coach / Sports Performance Physical Therapist As a board certified sports physical therapist, strength and conditioning specialist, and licensed athletic trainer, Mr. McGovern has been training and rehabilitating athletes from youth to professional levels for over 18 years. He is also the Clinical Director of the Boston University Physical Therapy Center. Email Dan- Alex Walsh, MS, CSCS
Strength and Conditioning Coach Coach Walsh has developed sport-specific group training for multiple gyms in the western and central Massachusetts area, and runs his own strength and conditioning camps in central Massachusetts. He served as the head strength and conditioning coach for American International College in Springfield, where he also played ice hockey , a division I affiliate of Atlantic Hockey. His is currently pursuing his doctoral degree in sport psychology at Boston University. - Jason Meade, M.Ed. CSCS
Strength and Conditioning Coach Coach Meade is an adapted physical education teacher and football coach in Boston public schools. He fulfills the teacher-coach ideal and leads AEC’s contributions to the strength and conditioning portions of Athlete Support at Boston English High School. - Bob Ferrante, BS/BA, CSCS
Strength and Conditioning Coach Coach Ferrante brings great enthusiasm and energy to the AEC weight room. He is a graduate of Mount Ida College’s Sports Management program and was a collegiate football and lacrosse player.
