Corporate Competitor Training
The Corporate Competitor Program consists of strength training for the adult athlete. Participants range from competitive rowers, golfers, tennis players, and runners to recreational basketball players, people running a marathon for the first time, and athletes striving to manage injuries. Adults participating in this program will improve their flexibility, strengthen and tone core muscles, develop explosive power for the playing field, enhance their agility and quickness, and reduce the risk of sports injuries.
Understanding the busy lives that we lead, the Corporate Competitor program strives to fit a healthy, athletic life-style into even the most hectic schedules. Corporate Competitors train 1, 2, or 3 times a week. Training groups typically meet weekdays before work, during the lunch hour, and during the evening. Locker room and shower facilities allow busy professionals ready to begin or resume their workdays when they leave the AEC.
A Typical Corporate Competitor training day:
- Dynamic warm-up focused on flexibility, balance, and core strength
- Plyometrics for speed, agility, and power
- Core training
- Multi-joint strength training to improve athleticism
