The Admissions Reception Center is the hub for all admissions-related events
at Boston University. We have many ways for you to experience
life here: tours, information sessions, class visits, lunch
in a dining hall, and more.
Check out our Admissions Calendar to find days and times for
the events listed below and to create a personal itinerary
for your trip to campus—an easy way to plan your day
at Boston University. Scheduling an itinerary
reserves you a spot at our events. Reservations are required
for some events, and some programs require advance notice.
The Office of Admissions offers prospective students and their
families an introduction to the undergraduate programs at
Boston University. These sessions also cover admissions and
financial aid policies and provide the opportunity to ask
questions about the University. (Approximately 1 hour)

Tours of the Charles River Campus are given by a student volunteer
group called the President's Hosts. Tours begin at the Admissions

We invite you to spend three hours visiting Boston University by signing up for our Extended Campus Visit.
This program, which runs from 10:00 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., features an information session, campus tour that
includes our West Campus facilities, and lunch for you and your family in the West Campus Dining Hall. This
experience allows you to not only see and hear what it's like to be a BU student but also to "taste" a little
student life as well.
This program is available on a limited basis on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays during the
fall and spring semesters while classes are in session.
At least two weeks' advance notice is required.
To learn more about this program or to request a visit, please call (617) 353-2318.
Experience life on our Charles River Campus through our Day and Overnight Visit Program.

Admissions will create an individual schedule that meets your needs.
You can spend time attending a class, eating lunch in one of our dining
facilities, touring our campus, or staying in a residence hall—all with a student host.
Visits are available Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters while classes are in session.
Day or overnight visits may not be scheduled online; for more information or to schedule a visit,
please call 617-353-2318 at least two weeks in advance of your desired visit date.
For an informal (and literal) taste of student life at Boston
University, we invite prospective students to join one of
our undergraduates for lunch. The dining option is available
for prospective students only and is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.,
Monday through Friday. Space is limited; two weeks' advance
