Club Sports
Club
Sports offer instruction, practices, and, in some
cases, intercollegiate competition. They involve a substantial
time commitment with regular practices and competition.
The ultimate purpose of club sports is to offer growth
opportunities to students and to enrich their educational
experience. All activities listed below are coed unless
otherwise noted.

Intramural Sports
Intramural
Sports provide informal yet structured competition.
Coed teams are usually groups of friends from residence
floors, academic departments, or other student groups.
More than 7,000 students participate in intramural sports
each semester. Faculty and staff join in the fun, too.
There's nothing as satisfying, they say, as spiking a
volleyball against a faculty team from your own School
or College. Also popular is ice broomball, just like hockey
but without the skates. And your hockey stick is, of course,
a broom.
