  Getting Around Campus
Boston University in the spring and fall is perfect for rollerblading and bike riding as it's nearly two miles long (some brave souls even roller-blade in the winter!). During the colder, snowier months, however, the B.U. Shuttle and the "T" (Boston's subway/trolley mass-transit system) are the preferred methods of transportation. We even have six "T" stops along our campus (three of which are actually named for Boston University). Of course, most students just walk from one end of campus to the other. It's really not that far, and you usually bump into friends along the way. Check out our walking distance chart below to get a better idea of how long it takes to walk from one part of campus to another.
