Boston University takes great pride in its diverse and talented
Performance
Organizations. These groups provide entertainment to the
University community by participating in events such as Homecoming
and Bacchanalia, as well as in regional and national competitions
and performances. Performance opportunities include vocal,
music,
dance, theatre, and comedy troupes. Most groups have regular
rehearsal times each week. Generally, these organizations require
a strong commitment and conduct auditions in the fall semester,
although some do audition spring semester.
In addition, there are many opportunities for those interested
in the literary arts, film, medieval reenactment, visual arts,
and more. There's also a group dedicated to Theatre for Engineers.
