This is an eight-year degree leading to a bachelor of science in biomedical engineering from the College of Engineering and a doctor of medicine degree from the Boston University School of Medicine. Like the MMEDIC, ENGMEDIC allows highly qualified students to fulfill some medical school requirements as undergraduates through the use of modular courses. Biomedical Engineering majors receive a gradual transition from undergraduate biomedical engineering to graduate medical study.
