Internet Access & Computer Support
Boston University provides Ethernet (wired) access to the Internet and campus network in all offices and residences. Many BU schools and colleges also have computer labs and resources.
Wireless access is now available in many locations including:
- All schools and colleges, libraries and research centers
- Some residences
- Agganis Arena
- The George Sherman Union
- BU Beach (You can’t swim here, but bring your laptop and surf.)
Our online Personal Computing Support Center posts a full list of wireless network locations and information on the BU network. We’re adding new wireless spots all the time, so check back periodically.
Computer Support
Consultants at our Personal Computing Support Center are available for free tutoring and troubleshooting in many applications, both for PCs and Macs.
