Visiting Students
Would you like to spend a semester or an academic year at Boston University’s College of Arts & Sciences or School of Management?
Each year, we admit a limited number of visiting students. To qualify, you must be enrolled at a regionally accredited college or university, or have received a bachelor’s degree within the last three years. Either way, you should have a strong academic record.
If your application is accepted, you’ll enroll in four courses each semester. Although you won’t be a candidate for a degree, you can live in University residences (if available) and take advantage of many extracurricular activities.
We admit visiting students based on the availability of courses. Priority is given to students whose proposed coursework has a clear scholastic or professional objective.
Application deadlines for visiting students:
- For fall semester – April 1
- For spring semester – November 1
Please note: attending either the College of Arts & Sciences or the School of Management as a visiting student does not in any way imply or guarantee later admission to a degree program.
