School of Education Presidential Scholarship
The Presidential Scholarship recognizes academically gifted students who have applied and been admitted to the School of Education. Award recipients receive four years of tuition-free undergraduate study at the School of Education.
To be considered for the award, applicants must submit an essay in response to one of the following questions:
- Why is education important for a civil society?
- In your experience, what makes a good teacher?
Please submit your essay via e-mail to SEDessay@bu.edu as an attached Adobe Acrobat document (.pdf extension) or Microsoft Word document (.doc or .rtf extension). Include your name, birth date, address and e-mail address, as well as the words “Presidential Essay” at the top of the first page.
The essay must be received by Admissions no later than January 1.
