Advising in the Schools and Colleges
BU’s undergraduate schools and colleges provide faculty advisors and academic counselors to help you select majors and register for courses.
One-on-one guidance, creates a small-college experience at the core of a large and bustling research university. Faculty also offer office hours, when you can discuss research and internship opportunities.
Pre-Professional Advising
Our dedicated Pre-Professional Advising office will guide you in fulfilling requirements toward post-graduate studies in law, medicine, dentistry, or veterinary medicine. Advice on what courses to take, post-graduate admission requirements, and the application process are also offered.
Educational Resource Center (ERC)
Anything you need help with – from acing a tough test to better managing your time – you’ll find it at the ERC. The center will develop a personalized plan for you with a disciplined approach to study. The ERC also offers:
- Peer tutoring
- Language groups
- Writing help
- Test-prep workshops
- Time-management skills
