Alumni Admissions Volunteers

BU’s Alumni Admissions Volunteers (AAV) program is a network of approximately 2,000 Boston University alumni who support BU Admissions in our recruitment and enrollment of undergraduate students.

Our volunteers support BU Admissions in a number of ways. They represent BU at local college fairs and community based organizations, conduct informational interviews, attend admissions receptions and participate in outreach projects for admitted students. Our volunteers extend the reach of BU Admissions and help to ensure that every applicant can have a personal experience during the admissions process.

During the fall and spring there are many opportunities for getting involved by assisting our office with college fairs or attending events to share your BU experience with students and their families. We will be in contact throughout the year to alert you of opportunities in your region. Please note that while we are thrilled to have enthusiastic BU alums from all schools and colleges involved, we work exclusively with applicants to BU’s nine undergraduate schools and colleges.
