Office Assistance Office assistance is not available for research support. The ACOR office staff supports only the administrative needs of the center. If you need office assistance (i.e. typing, translating, computer support) plan the support in your fellowship budgets and be prepared to handle the matter yourself. Sources of assistance or direction will be provided. The staff will assist in providing advice, direction and general guidance but cannot complete your work. The University of Jordan has numerous students available for typing, research assistance, translating services, tutors, Arabic language instruction, etc. Resources are available via Internet, the libraries, the ACOR library, numerous available guidebooks, etc., which can answer most questions regarding Amman, Jordan and the Middle East. Research before you arrive. If you need information or sources of information see the Library pages. If you cannot find a suitable source of information or have additional questions, contact the ACOR Librarian, for assistance.
