Description of Exavation
The Tafila-Busayra Archaeological Survey (TBAS) is a three-year project (1999-2001). It attempts to connect, both geographically and chronologically, with the work of the Wadi al-Hasa Archaeological Survey (WHS 1979-1983) and the Southern Ghors and Northeast 'Arabah Archaeological Survey (SGNAS 1985-1086). This final year of the project will include drawing and sketching of the major archaeological sites of the 1999 and 2000 seasons of the survey. There is no intention of further survey at this time.
