Cash Raffle

Tickets are priced at $100 each. No more than 250 tickets will be sold (which means you have at least a one in 250 chance of winning the grand prize!). The drawing will be on Friday, May 4, 2012 at the reception following the BUA Spring Concert. Drawing time will be approximately 9:30 PM. Winners do not need to be present to claim prize! Nearly $5,000 in cash prizes! Sign up for tickets!

4thPrize- $200
5th Prize- $100 (Win your money back!)

Proceeds from the cash raffle (approximately $15,000-$20,000) will benefit BU Academy’s financial aid program. The financial aid program is designed to help make an Academy education accessible to qualified students who otherwise could not afford the full cost of attendance. Financial aid at the Academy is offered in the form of need-based financial aid grants, which do not need to be repaid.

THE FINE PRINT!
For federal and state income tax purposes, the winner may be required to pre pay a portion of the tax liability prior to receiving the prize.  According to the IRS, no portion of the ticket price will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes.
