BUA Parents’ Association

SAVE THE DATE for the BUA Parent Social, Saturday evening, January 28, 2012 at 6:30! This event will be held at the Pizzeria Uno’s in Kenmore Square and will include a full buffet dinner with one cocktail at a cost of $27 per person. Tickets can be purchased via check (made out to the BUAPA) or online.

As a current parent of an Academy student, you are automatically a member of the Boston University Academy Parents’ Association (BUAPA). Functioning as the volunteer arm of the Academy, the primary goals of BUAPA are to enhance student life, to strengthen the school community, and to provide assistance with school programs and fundraising. BUAPA organizes activities that enrich the high school experience for students and coordinates parent volunteers for special community events.

There are many opportunities for families to be active members of the Academy community— attend monthly BUAPA meetings, meet new parents at the Winter Social, or volunteer your time throughout the school year.

A $50 non tax-deductible contribution in the form of membership dues is invited, but not required, to help defray the costs of organizing community activities and events for Academy students, faculty, and families.
