Teams and Schedules
The Academy encourages all students to get involved in its after-school athletics program regardless of prior experience, though participation is not required. Teams operate on an open-participation policy, however students must commit to attend all practices and games.
The Academy’s interscholastic teams compete in the Massachusetts Bay Independent League, the New England Preparatory School Athletic Conference, and the Girls’ Independent League.

The girls’ and boys’ varsity and junior varsity teams practice and play home games in Sargent Gymnasium.
Cross Country 2009 Schedule
Crew
Teams row on the Charles River in the fall and compete throughout the spring. Rowers receive instruction from BU varsity rowers.
Fencing
The fencing team offers instruction in all three weapons. The Academy has produced state- and nationally-ranked fencers along with collegiate level athletes.
Sailing
Teams practice and compete on the Charles River during the late fall and winter.
Soccer 2009 Schedule
The co-ed varsity and junior varsity teams practice and compete throughout the fall at BU’s Nickerson Field.
Tennis
During the spring, the tennis team has use of the University’s newest sports facility, the Track and Tennis Center.
Ultimate Frisbee
The Academy’s co-ed team practices and competes throughout the spring.
