Louis Lowy Certificate in Gerontological Social Work

MSW students interested in working directly with older adults or engaging in social programming and policy on behalf of elders are eligible to receive the Louis Lowy Certificate in Gerontological Social Work from the School. To be eligible for the certificate, students must complete 16 aging-related credits, 8 of which must come from specific courses in aging, including field placements. Up to 8 additional credits may be drawn from standard courses where students gear their assignments to aging clients or issues.
