The Department of Health Policy & Management is a national leader in developing health care policy makers and managers. In addition to offering competency-based educational programs, the department develops and employs innovative research methods to assess health care access, quality, outcomes, equity, and value. More than 30 full-time faculty members, many connected with one of three department-affiliated health services and disabilities research centers, teach and mentor students, using approaches designed to engage students in active, practice-based learning. The student body is composed of a diverse mix of recent college graduates and early- to mid-career health professionals, joining us from the US and throughout the world.
