Minor in Deaf Studies
(24 credits + 16 credits of prerequisites)
Students pursuing a minor in Deaf Studies must plan their program with Dr. Marlon Kuntze. The minor consists of a minimum of 24 semester hours. Four semesters of American Sign Language (ASL) are required as prerequisites. A grade of C or higher is required in all courses taken toward the minor concentration. Students must complete DE 570 and DE 571 (ASL I & II) before they can start the minor with the exception of SED DE 2xx, which may be taken at any time.
