Declaring or Changing a Concentration/Major

University Policy

Questrom School of Business Policy

Undergraduate

Students may declare a concentration at any time—and must declare a concentration and intended graduation date no later than March 1 of their junior year—by completing the Concentration, Minor, and Graduation Form. Students may also use this form to declare, change, or drop a minor or concentration, or change their intended graduation date. Declaration of a concentration places students on email lists for events or information relevant to the concentration, though students should only declare concentrations they intend to complete.

Graduate

MBA students who entered the degree program in January 2020 or earlier may elect to graduate with a concentration in Energy & Environmental Sustainability, Innovation & Entrepreneurship, Finance, Leadership & Organizational Transformation, Operations & Technology Management, Marketing, or Strategy. These students may declare a concentration as part of the Graduation Application process on the MBA Center website. Please note that completion of MBA degree requirements and completion of concentration requirements are completely separate from one another. Concentrations are no longer available to students entering in September 2020 and beyond.
