Academic Conduct Committee

Questrom School of Business Policy

The Academic Conduct Committee is comprised of a student, an administrator, and faculty members who hear charges of academic violations brought forward by faculty, administrators, or students. Violations of the Academic Conduct Code include, but are not limited to, cheating on an examination or assignment, communication during an examination, plagiarism, and violations of the rules on teamwork. The committee is authorized to impose sanctions on the basis of its findings. Sanctions include, but are not limited to, a grade penalty, probation, suspension, or expulsion.

The University’s Academic Conduct Code (“The Code”) may be viewed in the University Policies section of the Bulletin. The Code is intended to establish an environment of integrity and professionalism that helps to promote recognition of individual academic work.
