English & Language Arts

At the EdD level, experienced educators prepare for responsibilities as college and university professors, department chairs, English/language arts researchers, consultants, and designers, writers, and producers of educational materials. In addition to departmental core courses, students complete courses in research, English, English education, language arts, linguistics, reading, and curriculum development.
