Counseling Skills & Techniques in Sport and Exercise Psychology

Designed to develop competency in the understanding and application of the core mental skills of sport psychology and exercise psychology. The core mental skills include goal setting, visualization, arousal regulation, and self-talk. The student will learn how to use and teach these skills in a variety of settings. Students will understand the boundaries of the sport psychology consultant, and when to refer for other support services. 4 cr.
