The online Master of Science (MS) in Health Communication program teaches students to understand the complexities of important health care issues and communicate them in a way both the media and the public can understand. The multidisciplinary curriculum focuses on how to implement effective communication campaigns, tackle tough health care issues, and provide valuable information to the media, the public, and other critical stakeholders. Students in the program gain leadership skills in the emerging fields of health care marketing, public relations, health literacy, crisis management, and social marketing. Geared toward professionals with a background in health care or public relations, the online Master of Science in Health Communication can be completed in as few as 18 months of part-time study. The interactive, online format includes lectures and debates, videos, interactive animation, discussion boards, and more.
