Kung Fu, Beginning

Learn the Kung Fu style that Bruce Lee started off with. The only Kung Fu style developed by a woman, Wing Chun is known for its speed, use of leverage and economy of motion, which makes it an extremely practical self-defense style. Class emphasis is on developing relaxation, alignment and technique in order to untilize the body's full potential. Students will learn traditional techniques and drill them in exercises for practical application. First timers taking the class are given an introduction to the style in order to build a strong foundation while those who have taken the class before continue on with more advanced material. Material is also tailored to the needs of the students. The instructor will work with individual students to help them reach their own unique goals in fitness.
