Plane wave and spherical wave propagation. Initial value and boundary value problems, including normal modes and waveguides. General concepts such as acoustic impedance and intensity. Lumped elements. The wave equation in horns and stratified media. Other topics may include biomedical ultrasound, acoustic levitation, etc... as time permits.
