Minor in Geography
Changes to this program will take effect in the 2016–2017 academic year.
The minor in Geography is designed to allow students with interests in geography to design and focus a course of study. Students may elect to focus their coursework on human geography, physical geography, environmental analysis & policy, or remote sensing. Students may also choose a variety of courses to provide them with a broad framework in geography. A minor in Geography will prepare students to work in a variety of careers at the intersection of the natural environment, society, and global change.
The minor consists of five 4-credit courses selected from various clusters of geography. At least three of the five courses should be at the 300 level or above.
A grade of C or higher is required in each course submitted for the minor.
