Admissions

Application Deadline:

Summer Semester: March 1

Admissions Calendar:

Review of applications will begin according to the following timetable.

Requirements:

  • • Minimum GPA: 3.0 (in major and overall)
  • • Level IA open to students who have completed second-semester college-level Spanish with grades of B or better. Students who have completed third-semester Spanish are not eligible for this level
  • • Level IB open to students who have completed fourth-semester college-level Spanish with grades of B or better
  • • Level II open to students who have completed fifth-semester college-level Spanish with grades of B or better

Program Fees

Summer 2009 Program Cost: $7,300

The following are included in the program fee:

  • • Tuition
  • • Housing
  • • Board
  • • Field trips
  • • Emergency travel assistance coverage

Travel

The program arranges a trans-Atlantic group flight that is not included in the program fee. We recommend that students take this flight.

Boston Staff

The Boston University Madrid Programs are administered by staff in both our Boston and Madrid offices. In Boston, a program manager facilitates the admissions and orientation procedures, and maintains contact with students prior to their arrival in Madrid. The Boston Office also houses administrative personnel who are responsible for everyday operations. In Madrid, the staff comprises a resident director, administrative, academic and housing personnel.
