Boston University's Auckland Programs offer students the opportunity to study and intern in Auckland, New Zealand, the gateway to the South Pacific. The program is built around an extended direct enrollment semester at one of two major New Zealand universities—the University of Auckland and the Auckland University of Technology (AUT University). Students in all tracks will live in fully furnished student residences located in a vibrant urban environment in the heart of Auckland on the North Island of New Zealand. Students will enjoy excellent coursework, internships at the top businesses in the area, and excursions that will introduce them to the history and culture of this unique and beautiful country. Upon successful completion of the semester, students receive 16 Boston University credits. Students can choose the Auckland Internship Program, or the Auckland University Studies Program, which features four courses but no internship. Please see the Academics section for further information. Host Institutions *Please note that the academic calendar in New Zealand differs substantially from the American academic calendar and this is reflected in the program dates. |
